A Bench

Just sit on that bench. If you would have told me that, I would have laughed. Could it really be that simple? What about complex formulas, strategic planning, and careful calculation. No really, … just sit on that bench.

The best gifts in life come from small daily choices made over and over. The seemingly insignificant forms the pattern for the fabric of our lives. BLINK! It’s real. Yes, just that quickly. The house that you live in isn’t the same house, and the sun seems to shine brighter. Don’t ask how, just cherish every moment of the fairy tale. It’s real this time. Believe the dreams that God has inspired because they are real—every last one of them.

So forget what people have told you life is like. Don’t resign yourself to any situation that isn’t what you have always imagined. You imagine for a reason. It is God communicating with you, telling you what He has in store for you—if you can just do a few daily things.  And when it comes time, just sit on that bench, and He will do the rest.

No two days will be the same after you do.
